Above-80 weather around these parts is both a blessing and a curse. On one hand, it?s the one time we?re not buried beneath a pile of layers. On the other, there?s that whole schvitzing-on-the-subway-platform thing.
But a compromise is easily achieved with the weekend dress.
It?s almost too brainless to be real. There are no separates to be paired. No accessories to agonize over. You simply slip one on and head off to brunch, the park, the museum, the market, the movies, the Jitney? You get it.
Here are a few of our faves:
The flowy caftan We can think of nothing better than a minimal, sleek tent (in the best way possible). Lucky for us, there?s Maria Cornejo. But if prints are more your game, get to know Tsumori Chisato.
The boxy shift Less boho but just as airy, United Colors of Benetton?s subtly patterned number is incredibly versatile (we?re totally rocking this at the office). A killer sleeveless shirtdress (hi, Rag & Bone) also works.
We could all use a closet?s worth: Stroll over to the slideshow.
