Farm-fresh pantry staples that come to you
We?re a society of convenience. Practically everything is at our fingertips and deliverable to our door (bagels, dry cleaning, even an umbrella)--except the farmers?-market staples we love.
Quinciple is about to change that.
Every Thursday evening, a box of weekly groceries (eggs, milk, bread, fruits, veggies, herbs and the like) from vetted producers arrives at your door--ensuring your fridge is always stocked with healthy necessities. (It?s $50 a week and you?re able to pause the service at any time.)
While you aren?t able to pick and choose what comes in the box, the chief forager (Kate Galassi, formerly of the Spotted Pig and the Breslin) selects multipurpose ingredients that can easily stand alone or be paired in a range of foolproof ways. Recipes and tip cards are even included in every box. You?d have to try hard to mess it up.
At the time, only a handful of Manhattan zip codes are up for rickshaw delivery (or pickup in Brooklyn). But with such a streamlined model, we?re confident it will quickly expand to other corners of the city.
Your Sunday afternoons are now traipsing- and lugging-free.
