It’s a new free iPhone app (from the folks who created Siri) that aggregates anything you could possibly need from each calendar entry and meeting invite. Locations are linked to Google maps, related emails and documents are at your fingertips and attendees of all events are clearly listed alongside their contact information (even a LinkedIn profile for that bigwig you forgot to research in advance). All you have to do is show up.
Plus, should a particular meeting run long, you can easily shoot off a pre-written “running late” message (text or email) to those who happen to be in your next one.
Okay, now for the catch: Tempo is still in beta (to work out any kinks). So upon downloading, you’ll most likely be put on a waiting list. Don’t be nervous if there are a few...thousand people ahead of you. Our request took a couple of weeks to go through, but trust us, it’s worth the wait.
