The new Tribeca studio, devoted entirely to ?tramping,? features high-energy classes performed exclusively on--you guessed it--trampolines. Indeed, the same contraptions you flipped (or flopped) on as a kid are actually the idea behind this low-impact, high-cardio workout.

To kick off the signature JumpDance class, our enthusiastic instructor Terrell slowly walked us through some dance-like movements. Think: side-to-side bounces, swivel kicks and crisscrossed jumps all performed on personal mini trampolines (complete with lifesaving stability bars).

Before we knew it, the overhead lights dimmed (since, let?s be honest, nobody needs to see us bounce), the Top 40 hits kicked in and a disco ball set the club-like mood. By the end of the 45-minute session, we not only had all the moves down but were also smiling from ear to ear.
