Cartier takes us on a magical holiday journey
A blanket of snow, a distant cluster of stars, a limitlessly faceted diamond--they all fascinate you for the same reason: a quality of endlessness that is somehow so natural, yet so glamorous.
This holiday season, renowned French watchmaker and jeweler Cartier has combined all of these elements--along with its sleek mascot, the panther--in a short digital film, Winter Tale. Two beautiful panther cubs pad through the snow and into the branches of a larger-than-life snowcapped evergreen, encountering Cartier treasures on their journey to the highest bough.
For women, there’s the Trinity ring with its intertwining bands of yellow, white (set with pavé diamonds) and rose gold ($11,500), the compact but elegant Tank Anglaise watch in white gold with diamonds ($35,300) and the edgy, graceful Juste Un Clou bracelet in pink gold with diamonds ($11,275).
Winter Tale’s masculine offerings include the refined, sterling silver Diabolo Blue Cabochon Decor cufflinks ($590), a rich cowhide belt ($500) in brown or black with an architectural palladium-finish buckle and the contemporary steel Calibre de Cartier watch ($7,700).
From the cubs’ playful scramble to the artful perfection of the gems lighting their path, Cartier’s Winter Tale is pure enchantment.
