Regardless of your industry, shopping for office attire--that delicate balance of professional yet flattering, durable but affordable--is a constant struggle. But the new Massimo Dutti store just might make the process a little easier.
With 600 locations in 58 countries, the Spanish line (which shares a parent company with Zara) has finally arrived in the States, naturally right here on Fifth Avenue. The vibe is crisp and modern, like that of its sister brand, but less focused on trendy turnover pieces and more on sophisticated, practical separates--such as this sheer Swiss dot blouse ($90), jacquard wrap skirt ($99), slim-cut suiting blazer ($268) and crepe-wool shift dress ($175).
And beyond just the basics, Massimo Dutti also debuted an exclusive collection to coincide with the NYC store launch. Perfectly aligned with our edgy Manhattan aesthetic while still keeping its clean Euro slant, the capsule includes items like a studded blucher ($328), an oversize silk blouse ($175) and a leather pencil skirt ($368) that we may go buy right this second.
The battle over office dressing may never be fully won, but at least we now have an ally in our quest for go-to options.
