We envy the effortless style of French women. Naturally, we love Parisian label A.P.C., whose chic, cashmere pullovers and sorbet-colored ballet flats have helped American women everywhere look like they're strolling through Le Marais.

The newly opened A.P.C. Specials store, on Perry Street, sells the line's coveted caps, belts and bags. You'll also find their indestructible denim, hand-stitched quilts from previous collections and a gorgeous selection of House of Waris jewelry.

Simple, bleached-wood paneling throughout the space balances lots of built-in details, such as a French-music listening station and carefully arranged walls of lovely smelling laundry detergents (a collaboration with Australian skin-care line, Aesop).

Those in search of the perfect white button-down need not fear: A.P.C. Specials stocks the current men's and women's collections, as well as limited-edition reissued pieces.
