Dr. Robin kids’ wash is a grown-up hit
Beverly Hills pediatric dermatologist Dr. Robin Schaffran has made it her life's work to save her young clientele's skin. (After all, 80 percent of lifetime skin damage occurs before the age of 18.) So five years ago, she created Dr. Robin brand All-Natural Chemical-Free Sunscreen SPF 30+.
But a funny thing happened to this chemical-free product in the marketplace: It wound up on as many moms' faces as kids'. Grown-ups were impressed by the nonirritating formula, and how even though it utilizes titanium dioxide and zinc oxide as broad-spectrum physical barriers, it goes on sheer enough to be invisible under foundation.
Now Dr. Robin's up to her old tricks, having launched two new products as intergenerationally apropos as her sunscreen. Soothing Daily Moisture Cream ($12) is formulated with coconut and safflower oils and pomegranate extract to remedy sensitive or eczema-prone skin. The Soothing Body Wash & Shampoo ($12) lathers with gently moisturizing organic quinoa and antibacterial coconut oil. Scented with lavender, it promises to be tear-free--like the best of our childhood memories.
Dr. Robin for Kids is available at Anthropologie stores and store.drrobin.md.
