Trendy versus flattering: It?s fashion?s age-old battle. And while there?s always a way to achieve both, it?s still difficult to find collections for all shapes and sizes.
Well, shorter gals, you?re in luck, because we recently uncovered this little gem: Whit Two.
The second collection to burst from fresh-faced designer Whitney Pozgay (her first being Whit), Whit Two is made for petite women and features items that are notoriously hard to find in shorty sizes--we?re talking maxis that don?t drag on the ground, minis that are actually mini and boxy tops that hit at the waist, not the upper thigh.
Being a petite woman herself, Pozgay is all too familiar with the perils of overwhelming clothing, whether it be too much fabric or patterns that are bigger than your head. Whit Two takes these things into consideration, and with prints inspired by Pozgay?s recent trip to Tulum, the look is light and summery. We love the Starfish maxi ($258) for its wearable silhouette (and pockets!), as well as the Quita dress ($198), which hugs all the right places.
Sold exclusively at Anthropologie--test-drive that midi in select stores or order online--the collection also comes in regular sizes (with inseams two inches longer) for ladies who require a little extra legroom.
Finally, a maxi we don?t have to fall for.
