Disposable linens strike a stylish balance between paper and cloth
When hosting a dinner party, a properly set table speaks volumes. When paper won't do--but fine linens seem stuffy--invest in MYdrap serviettes, which beautifully fill the gap between everyday napkins and their expensive linen counterparts.
The brainchild of a fourth-generation textile manufacturer, MYdrap's disposable linens feel similar in texture to a light, button-down shirt, yet they're surprisingly durable. We laundered the cotton cloths--which are 100-percent biodegradable--six times before they began breaking down.
The linens come in several vibrant colors and sizes--from punchy, fuchsia cocktail napkins ($25 for 50) to striking, sea-blue placemats ($34 for 12)--on a convenient, tear-as-you-go roll. Our favorite is the red, gingham luncheon napkin ($28 for 20), which adds a charming touch to afternoon picnics and on-the-fly outdoor entertaining.
While there's no substitute for high-quality linens when VIPs come to dinner, MYdrap creations are ideal for the occasion that falls somewhere between a simple gathering and a full-fledged, formal affair.
