You’ve been collecting mason jars all year, and you’re totally enamored with the idea of an indie-chic, DIY-inspired holiday party. The only problem? You’re not so great at D-ing stuff Y. (It’s OK: We, too, have had many a wreath-making mishap.)
Luckily, this year we’ve found a way to outsource the crafting and still get that homespun look.
Minted (the online paper-goods store we fell in love with a few months ago) has just launched a holiday decor shop, offering up all-inclusive kits for everything you might need to make a seasonal soiree pop.
Each package is designed by a different independent artist and includes both utilitarian items and quirky party flair--think matching plates and napkins, personalized bunting banners, table signs, wineglass tags and adorable striped straws. Within each collection, you can choose from three “suites” ($65 to $128) depending on how many guests you’re having and how elaborate you want to go with your purchases.
As for pretending we made it all ourselves? We’re not above that.
