Though we?re always excited when big-name designers collaborate with stores like Target or H&M, we?re increasingly noticing an equally cool trend in the world of capsule collections: partnerships with under-the-radar indie designers.
The Austin-based Alyson Fox is such a designer, having worked her way up from struggling illustrator to dwell-world darling courtesy of her geometric drawings, found-object art and cute dinnerware patterns.
But her newest endeavor--a small textile and furniture collection for West Elm--just might be her most exciting offering yet.
Though billed as a holiday collection, the line is more Southwestern flair meets mountain cabin chic. Think browns, corals and plenty of American Indian-inspired prints.
We?re absolutely loving the Stencil and Triangles pillow covers ($34 each) as an easy way to make an old couch pop. Meanwhile, Fox?s gorgeous, thick wool rugs ($149 to $999) are great for totally reinventing a room (the Overdyed version is our favorite).
Since Fox is definitely on track to become mega-big in the next few years, we?re thrilled to have the opportunity to snag a few of her wares now.
