When Target began unveiling designer collaborations five years ago, we were skeptical that a mass retailer could replicate luxury styles at bargain prices. But then we saw the gorgeous discount goods rolled out by Proenza Schouler, Alice Temperley and Rodarte, and we fell in love.

Target's latest collaboration with Calypso St. Barth is equally covetable. The beachy, bohemian line beloved by resort-goers for its flowing tunics, printed sarongs and chic maxi dresses brings the same sense of St. Tropez chic to the Target collection at a fraction of the cost (exciting news for those wary of a $400 tunic). And the entire line is available in plus sizes, an overdue first for a Target-designer collaboration.

With over 100 pieces, Calypso for Target goes beyond summer basics with graphic totes, lingerie and home decor--and nothing's over $80. What we'll be taking on vacation: the beaded sleeveless dress ($43), blue sequin print tunic ($30), and statement-making tassel necklace ($25).

If you prefer sticking to the Calypso you know and love, the current Voyage collection bears a striking resemblance to their Target line. We bet Calypso's cross-back dress ($350) inspired this pink chemise ($25) while the PomPom Eyelet sheath ($250) is very similar to this embroidered navy ruffle dress ($40).

No matter what you choose, dressing in style this summer will be a day at the beach.
