Queue and You
Watch It tracks the movies you want to see
Remember that Cannes surprise hit you were dying to see the minute it came to a theater near you? Remember how you promptly forgot to write down the name of said film and hence missed your chance? Remember what a bummer that was?
Now you can easily keep track of all the movies you want to catch as well as their impending availability dates, thanks to the new website Watch It.
Think of Watch It as an interactive Netflix queue. After browsing the site’s extensive database or searching for what you’re after, you can add pretty much any movie that’s had any sort of release to your ongoing “super queue.” Watch It will then track the flick’s availability across multiple viewing platforms and email you when it hits one of your preferred options.
For instance, we can’t wait to watch Sundance Grand Jury Prize winner Beasts of the Southern Wild, so we told Watch It to alert us via email when the film is available in theaters or on Netflix, Amazon streaming, Movies On Demand or cable (in our case, DirecTV).
In other words, even if your movie doesn’t come to a local theater, you’ll still get a handy reminder when there’s another way to take it in.
