While we'd love to spend our afternoons trolling international galleries for new pieces to add to our fabulous/edgy/invaluable collections, it turns out there's an easier way to buy art: Artspace, a recently launched, membership-based, free website offering exclusive sales on contemporary works.

Carefully selected by a team of in-the-know curators, the site sells original art, prints and photographs from both emerging and established talents such as Ross Bleckner, Sol LeWitt and Chuck Close.

Keep an eye out for guest curators, too, which will include well-known individuals from the world of fashion, design and beyond. The inaugural curator, for example, was chef-turned-artist Sam Talbot.

You can search by price (starting at $250 and topping out around $18,000), medium, size, color, subject or room. You can also simply browse the collection as you would at a real-world art show--a tactic which led us to discover our new favorite San Francisco-based painter.

No matter what you end up with, your walls will thank you.
