We recently told you about an awesome new website that lets you create your own shoes. Turns out you dig that concept. It also turns out that there are tons of other online resources for playing fashion designer.
Here, new ways to design your own:
Shirts A simple crepe shell is always a hit, but the recently launched line Yours Not Hers helps you make it totally unique. Choose from a handful of colors and add personalized embellishments like zippers, buttons and lace ($88).
Jewelry At Kendra Scott’s online “Color Bar,” aspiring bauble-designers can customize necklaces, earrings and bracelets ($45 to $150) with the stone and hue of their liking.
Lingerie Obsess over fabric, trim, color and appliqués at the Evlove intimates design shop. All bras ($62), tanks ($67) and panties ($52) can be tweaked according to your taste. Plus, we have to admit that the act of designing a thong is weirdly rewarding.
Everything else If you’ve ever fallen in love with a dress, only to discover it’s too short to cover your “problem knees,” Zoora has you (literally) covered. This new e-commerce site features garments from emerging designers, all of which can be altered (via fit, hemline, detailing, etc.) to your specifications.
