A beloved, Scandinavian fashion line takes style to the feet
We love the trademark mix of practical and playful found in so many Scandinavian fashion labels. Now, we can wear that artsy-meets-functional look on our feet.
Leifsdottir, the Scandinavian women's fashion line (and sister brand of Anthropologie) loved for its folksy, bohemian tops and graphic-print pants, recently launched a line of gorgeous footwear that we plan to sport all summer.
The four-and-a-half-inch heel and black grosgrain ribbons on the Ingrid sandal ($298) make it perfect for an outdoor cocktail party, while the sweet Lahja ballet flat ($228) turns a simple trip to the grocery store into a glamorous event. Those who want to take a walk on the wild side should opt for the Kaisa wedge ($398), whose artful construction and python pattern channel Ibiza and other exotic locales.
The khaki palette of each shoe makes for a grown-up, sophisticated look, while the embellishments add a free-spirit vibe. And, as if the shoes weren't enough to be excited about, Leifsdottir will debut its first line of handbags this fall.
We've already made room in our closets.
