Every artist has a story. Denise Fiedler's began in 2009, when she unearthed a box of vintage newsprint in her attic. Since then, she's been making paper compositions of everything from gloves and glasses, to furniture and furry creatures.

For her company paste SF, Fiedler constructs imaginative renderings from various types of antique paper (including books, such as a 1938 edition of The Art of Forgetting the Unpleasant), making each collage an original work of art and a unique snippet of history.

We love Fiedler's attention to detail, as seen in the gold accents on this cake ($75) and the pink flowers on this high heel ($75). Dog lovers will be delighted by her adorable puppy portraits ($55).

Print sizes range from 4-by-5 to 8-by-10 inches (Fiedler can also make custom pieces as large as 16-by-20 inches). Whether you're familiarizing a little one with the written word, craving cooking inspiration or just want a beautiful keepsake, Fiedler will cut and paste it for you.

Plus, for the month of March, PureWow readers will get 10 percent off any collage, including a custom project. All pieces ship throughout the U.S. and come framed in your choice of black- or white-painted wood. Email Denise to redeem your discount.
