If your wallet is anything like ours, it's filled with salad rewards cards and a thick stack of receipts you keep meaning to weed through.

One way to lighten that billfold: Lemon.com, a new website that helps you digitally store and manage both physical and email receipts.

Here's how it works: Instead of saving paper receipts, snap photos of them with Lemon's free app (which then digitizes the data and uploads it to your account). As for online payments, forward those confirmation emails to Lemon to have all information automatically processed and stored.

You can log into your account at any time to see all your receipts and track your spending--Lemon automatically organizes by month, but you can also add labels like "gifts" or "restaurants" to further categorize payments. Lemon will even generate reports based on these tags to show you exactly where your money is going.

You can upload up to 100 receipts a month for free, or opt for a premium ($8 for 250 receipts) or unlimited ($16) monthly membership.

Consider it another smart step toward a paperless lifestyle.
