A tan that’s good for your skin
When it comes to faking a facial glow without overexposure to the sun, you often come out looking more Snooki than sun-kissed. How, then, to keep our summer tans going?
Luckily, Stila has come out with One-Step Bronze, the first bronzer in a serum that delivers both skin-perfecting benefits and a flattering glow ($36).
You can tell the product's got serious science behind it with one look at its triple-swirled-helix packaging. The secret ingredient is Stila's Youth Revival Bio-Available Mineral Complex, which diminishes fine lines and wrinkles, minimizes pores and hydrates.
One-Step Bronze, which goes on best with a foundation brush, comes in three hues: matte bronze (the darkest), bronze with pink undertones (makes you look really glowy) and a lightish brown tone called Kitten that reduces sunspots.
After trying it on several friends around our office, we found that the pinkish bronze flattered multiple skin tones and worked as both a highlighter over foundation or on its own. We hated to have to share our secret, but after everyone kept accusing us of tanning-bed sessions, we had to share our little pot of gold.
