Wet and Wild
Why not use beach towels every day?
There?s a bit of beach weather left--but even after daytime chills set in, we?ll still be getting cozy with the new towels we?ve discovered from Tide & Pool.
These bright, crazy-print towels are our new go-to for cuddle-worthy drying off, whether we?re coming from the ocean, the sauna or just our shower. Made by two native southern Californians who wanted to bring both style and quality to beach and pool essentials, these towels are printed on two sides, unlike lower-priced options. So you get the silken feel of a Hermès or Missoni towel but for a fraction of the cost ($90).
Ah, but such practical matters fade when you see the prints: the signature Tidal, a Lichtenstein-worthy medley of pink, aquamarine and yellow; the blue waves of Nouvelle Vague; and the bright coral-and-turquoise rings of Oh Hi.
Our absolute favorite is Bebel, a Pop Art tribute to sexy bossa-nova songstress Bebel Gilberto--it?s so happy. Who cares if cloudy days are ahead when we?ve got eye-opening towels to look forward to in the morning?
