We're sprucing up for the dog days of summer--when we all spend as much time in the yard as indoors--by stocking up on home accessories to stylishly host any last-minute guests. Luckily, Los Angeles-based online retailer Christina Nickerson's got our back.
The Norwegian-born Nickerson's Olmay Home store stocks the sort of charming, internationally sourced house goods that look as if we'd collected them during our summer traipses to European country houses and African safaris.
While the shop includes larger items such as an Oriental-carpet-patterned pouf ($240) and 28-inch square duck-feather-filled silk pillows ($198), we're most smitten with the collection of rustic baskets. The Iringa basket from Tanzania ($56) is great for storing towels by the pool, while the Moroccan-sourced Quinn basket of palm leaves and sisal ($45) is our new farmers'-market tote.
