Bridgid Coulter’s beach-inspired textiles
Bridgid Coulter is living her next life. After a successful acting career (Class of ?96, Family Matters), the longtime partner of House of Lies star Don Cheadle has now decamped to Santa Monica to fulfill an entirely behind-the-scenes dream: interior design.
And she?s a star at it.
With a global-modern aesthetic and a truly fresh approach to home styling (seriously, who wouldn?t want to curl up here?), she?s sold us on her bohemian vibe. So as soon as we caught wind of her new line of textiles, we made an appointment at her Santa Monica studio to take a look.
Needless to say, we weren?t disappointed. Coulter?s linens embody a bold, colorful-yet-clean, beachy feel. Available in three distinct designs (Floral Block Party, In an Orderly Fashion and Pledge Allegiance to the Plaid), they?re great for a punch of pattern on a neutral sofa or as a vibrant tablecloth. Plus, because Coulter?s design firm is committed to sustainable and repurposed products (she furnished this Venice eco bungalow), the line is also environmentally conscious, using all-natural linens that are screen-printed locally with water-based dyes.
Just don?t blame us if you also end up renting a beach house.
