Jen7 jeans are engineered with extra give
Skinny jeans, we know you?re in fashion, but wearing you is like a form of torture. (Forget about bending down, eating a big dinner or, heaven forbid, breathing.)
Suffer no more, thanks to Jen7 jeans.
This new line from 7 for All Mankind is designed with a waistband that sits in just the right spot (a little below the navel), as well as material that gives yet holds its shape. Styles include the always versatile bootcut ($195), the straight leg ($175) and, our nemesis, the skinny jean ($175).
Ever skeptical, we donned stretch skinnies for a multi-hour test-drive. When we put them on to meet friends for drinks, we immediately noticed the denim was softer than other new jeans we?ve worn. As soon as we plopped on an ottoman to order cocktails, we were grateful for the 10-inch front and 14-inch rear rises (average rise is usually 5 to 7 inches front and back) preventing any refrigerator-repair-guy-style exposure.
Finally, we took our skinnies to a Dodgers game--and we?re happy to report that after a few beers, a buffet dinner of prime rib in the V.I.P. restaurant and a Dodger dog at our seat, we were still feeling comfy enough to jump up and cheer without loosening a button. Go Big Blue, indeed.
