Most spas require buying a full treatment (easily $100 or more) before taking advantage of their steam room, sauna and hot-and-cold plunge pools. Face Haus, 12332 Ventura Blvd., Studio City; 855-550-4287

The Establishment, 2894 Rowena Ave.; 323-230-6100
