Hey, Coachella and New Orleans, when it comes to music festivals, you don?t get to have all the fun.

Enter Suburbia Music Festival, Plano?s answer to outdoor tunes, food and revelry. Here?s what?s on our radar for the weekend:

What to do On Saturday, skip Third Eye Blind and make time for Reverend Horton Heat, an Austin band that?s a little bit Texas country and a lot of rockabilly, and Alabama Shakes, who are coming straight from Jazz Fest. On Sunday, see Shakey Graves and Hayes Carll, whose song ?Beaumont? still takes our breath away.

What to eat Food trucks, food trucks, food trucks. Don?t miss the crawfish étouffée at Cajun Tailgators and the Korean-fusion tacos at Say Kimchi.

What to wear The Suburbia look is part Rachel Zoe and part Courtney Kerr--plus, if you?re standing on your feet all day, you need to be comfortable. Be sure to stop by The Gypsy Wagon to grab a linen dress and a pair of short boots. Leave the flower crown at home.
