Going to Market
Eat at NorthPark’s newest restaurant
There you are, midway through your shopping travails at NorthPark, when...extreme hunger hits. We’ve got good news: Green House Market is now dishing out healthy fare on the upper level.
We stopped by recently and fell in love with the former food truck’s new brick-and-mortar spot, which serves plenty of organic, locally sourced food with an approachable twist. We went with the roasted-adobo-chile-packed chili ($7) and stir-fried brown rice with striped bass ($7), both of which are hearty yet healthy.
If that’s not enough to lure you away from a certain crispy chicken sandwich, husband and wife owners Michael and Robyn Siegel have created a luxuriously beautiful restaurant you’ll actually want to linger in. The bright-white space is accented with green, and there’s an adjacent patio that you’ll especially want to take advantage of come spring.
Finally, thoroughly nutritious food, far from the food court.
