No fear: There's no jumping involved.

Frisco, best known for its temple of plywood and professional soccer, has got a new game in town.

Meet iFly, the indoor skydiving facility. Yes, we said indoor skydiving.

First of all, you’re probably thinking, How is this possible? Well, crazily enough, it is. And after checking out the place, we found that iFly is a surprisingly accessible (read: safe) workout.

After a brief training session on proper posture and hand signals, novices line up to take a turn inside the wind tunnel, where you’re literally faced with 180-mph winds (a beginner package lasts about two minutes, at $60 a pop). Thankfully, there’s no falling sensation; instead, the wind lifts you a few feet off the ground, where you float on air. An instructor remains by your side the entire time.

It all adds up to an unusual, heart-pumping workout that forces you to engage your core to keep your body aloft.

Go ahead, embrace your wild side.
