Facebook auction sites are darn near a dime a dozen. But we?ve found one that seems like a match made in Cowtown heaven.
Meet Honeysuckle and Bulldog, an online home-furnishings company that sells its distinctly ?cowboy modern? wares on Facebook in a weekly fixed-price auction.
The women behind it, Tabitha Mahaffey and Deirdre Goodman, have years of experience in the interior-design business. But as relative newcomers to Fort Worth, they were particularly struck by the city?s ?cowboy and culture? motif and opted to capitalize on the look--think clean lines with a rustic edge.
The H&B girls have forged exclusive relationships with vendors in the area, going to Market, estate sales and antiques malls to find unusual items for their Thursday 8 p.m. auctions--all to ensure that you?re the only one around who has a yearling heifer head mounted in her living room.
