Jeans with a cult following
Is there anything better than hitting Highland Park Village after the holidays?
This retail maze of luxury shops is rife with sales, which we noticed one afternoon while doing ?research.?
Among our coolest finds is the new Rag & Bone store, which is nicely stocked with the super-stylish, American-made label?s approachable collection of casual yet edgy urban wear. Or, as it?s also known: the brand that makes those really popular zippered-ankle legging/jeans. (Not to be confused with jeggings.)
The store, which opened in December, is not a pop-up Dallas venue, as many previously thought, but actually has a six-month lease in Highland Park Village. (A helpful employee said the company will either extend the lease here or look elsewhere in Dallas.)
The deep selection of women?s wear is a colorful, enticing mix of denim, cashmere and silk, much of which is on sale through the end of the month. Invoking our inner Gwyneth Paltrow, we fell hard for the zippered denim leggings ($95 on sale), with their supple fabric and slimming indigo wash.
And we were thrilled to find an all-cashmere tunic on the sale rack for $135.
Rag & Bone seems to be a perfect fit in Big D. And those jeans? Well, they fit perfectly too.
