In the Bag
Solving your closet storage dilemma
Even if you?re pretty good about organizing your clothes and accessories, some items always end up stashed in the back of the closet only to be found months later, covered in dust and somewhat squished.
But thanks to a Dallas-area company, your temporarily forgotten shoes and bags don?t have to become worse for the wear.
Bagadocious, an Allen-based outfit, has the solution with its line of custom-made cotton dust bags for everything from your prized oversize satchel to your cowboy boots to your kitten heels.
Owner Leslie Fuller started the business three years ago after she realized she needed to solve her own storage dilemma. The businesswoman thought she could improve upon basic dust bags by adding pictures of their contents to the outside, so she created her own bags out of cotton muslin, lined them with flannel (which proved all the better for keeping her leather bags polished), and applied a vinyl photo transfer of the bag?s contents on the outside. Voilà, Bagadocious was born.
Fuller sells two collections, the Elite line, made from Osnaburg cotton ($37 to $57) and the Lite line, made from 100 percent cotton muslin ($12.50 to $17.75). She also offers home consultations on purse cleaning.
Seems she?s got everything covered.
