Coworking spaces thrive in Dallas
Congratulations--you left your 50-hours-a-week job to follow your passion for entrepreneurship. You love the freedom. You work whenever you want. But now you realize your creative juices are stifled by the lack of social interaction.
Luckily, Dallas now has more than 15 community work spaces. Here, two that we love:
The Grove Located on Elm in the Historic West End, the Grove boasts five membership levels, ranging from five days a month ($75) to a full-time private office ($1,000). Each membership includes high-speed Internet, meeting rooms and standard office equipment (projectors, whiteboards, coffee). The Grove is also home to a variety of Dallas entrepreneurs and start-ups, from art consultants to financial planners, so you?ll meet a real mix of potential coworkers.

Dallas Fort Work The new Downtown community work space features 96 coworking desks, ten private offices, three conference rooms and a 220-seat event space (memberships range from $11 a day to $99 a month). Here, members are more artistic in nature; think web designers, app creators and photographers. The office even has an art gallery for showcasing its local talent.
