How North Henderson Avenue became even cooler
North Henderson Avenue has always had an eclectic-cool factor that’s unlike most of Dallas--a chill vibe, bohemian-chic boutiques and renowned dining all packed into a one-mile strip.
Here, three reasons NoHA just became even more hip:
Henderson Tap House This new restaurant and bar is quickly becoming our favorite spot for both cocktail specials (try the Saturday happy hour, which goes from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.) and Sunday brunch (the breakfast pizza with bacon, egg, cheese and sausage is to die for). 2323 N. Henderson Ave.
Trunk Club This new-to-the-neighborhood store has in-house stylists on hand to help find the perfect pieces for your guy. At his appointment, a TC stylist will take your man through a discovery process to learn his likes, dislikes, wants and needs. From there, TC will ship designer pieces to him on an as-needed basis. He’ll pay for the pieces he wants to keep, and everything else is sent back without extra fees or hidden charges. 3010 N. Henderson Ave.
Mesero Miguel Tucked between Tei Tei Robata and Fireside Pies stands this dining spot from Mico Rodriguez, and it’s a great alternative to his former restos Mi Cocina and Taco Diner. We devoured the three different ceviches and the substantial wagyu steak burger. Don’t miss the Pedro cocktail, MM’s take on the classic frozen margarita, which is swirled with sangria. 2822 N. Henderson Ave.
