Live Grit
This skirt was made for biking.

Afraid of that weird guy who always ?just happens? to touch your hair on the L? Favorite jeans too tight after too many months on the sofa?

Solve both problems by getting back into the saddle and cycling to work.

For our bike-lane-to-office fashion needs, we turn to Live Grit, the new triathlon store in the West Loop.

There we recently snagged Iva Jean?s Reveal skirt ($160), which has a hidden zipper in the back that releases additional fabric as you move your legs. It?s made of a special material that is breathable, wind- and water-repellent, fast drying and comfortable. The high waist is also super-slimming.

Though we?re crushing on the cute AnaNichoola jersey ($140) and the Giro Savant helmet ($90), Live Grit isn?t just about the garb. You can also test-ride a bike or get your wheels fixed. Plus, the shop hosts training groups and weekly Grit Talks (next up is ?Fix-a-Flat, Fix-a-Fun?), so you can learn more about the biking world.

The store does it all--just like that skirt.
