The bookbinding genius from Roscoe Village
This gal is a true wrap artist.

We recently received a mysterious invite for a Bari Zaki trunk show, and we had to get the scoop. Who is Bari? And what the heck does she sell?

The answer: Out of her Roscoe Village studio, Zaki makes gorgeous stationerynotebooks and other paper-made ephemera using high-quality materials from Europe and Japan.

She also does commissioned projects, including photography portfolios, wedding albums, storage boxes and desk accessory sets. In short, she?s a pro at beautiful presentation.

We?re perhaps most excited about her present-wrapping prowess. Bring her any gift (no matter how unusually shaped) and she?ll cover it with rare paper and ribbons collected during her travels ($20 to $40, depending on materials).
