C/Fan's Bobby rabbit muff keeps hands toasty in five different colors.
C/Fan's Adele rabbit-fur slouch beanie in flamingo, $113.
C/Fan's Chelsea rabbit-fur cat beanie in black, $124.
C/Fan's Penny racoon lapel vest in lavender, $624.
C/Fan's Jo rabbit stretch headband in aqua, $90.
In our opinion, wearing a full-length fur coat just feels like overkill. Ever walked a few blocks in one of those ten-pounders? No wonder minks don?t hibernate.
A chic fur scarf or muff, on the other hand, is never too hot to handle--especially when it comes courtesy of Chicago native Christina Fan.
We particularly love how Fan doesn?t take her fur--mainly rabbit, fox and raccoon pelts--too seriously. Her glam fox collars ($416) come in shades ranging from bright fuchsia to marigold, and her slouchy, hand-knit rabbit beanies ($124 to $135) have playful ears sewn on top. (Sold online and in Chicago at Sofia and other boutiques.)
But how to wear them, you ask? Well, when the superstylish Fan recently wed in Shanghai, she threw a decadent lavender fur stole over her long, beaded cream column dress--and the effect was stunning.
Inspired by that bold fashion statement, we?re pairing C/Fan?s deep blue rabbit infinity cowl ($207) with neutral sweaters for the rest of the winter.
It?s our new fur baby.
