Rent a farm table for your next party
There’s a reason why people romanticize farmhouse kitchens: No restaurant’s over-the-top tasting menu can compare with the pleasures of sitting down to a meal at a long, well-worn table full of good friends.
And if you want to replicate that kind of experience by throwing a Pinterest-worthy backyard party or even simply by starting a tradition of big family meals at home, you can now rent (or buy) from Chicago Farm Tables.
The company will deliver its sturdy, Pioneer Woman-esque tables and benches to your house for your next soiree, and its furniture inventory can handle small groups and up to 530 guests. (Rental fees are between $125 to $150 per table; the chairs shown here are from Halls.)
Tablecloths are unnecessary when you have these beauties at your party; all you need are flowers and candles to complete the look. (Mason jar cocktails, optional.)
You can also order a custom table for between $1,000 and $1,500, and we love the utter lack of stress that comes with owning a piece of furniture that’s meant to be put through life’s wringer.
Scratches, dents, a red-wine spill here or there--it all goes to show you know how to have a good time.
