The Internet is infinite. So how is it possible to pound the virtual pavement for hours in search of the perfect pump--only to realize we?re looking at the same 13 heels on every site?
A just-launched app, Chicago-based Purely Fashion, promises to broaden our horizons by showing us what else is out there. ?
Open the app and a runway look by a designer you may or may not know will appear on your screen--up-and-comers like Alice Ritter are given just as much play as legends like Bill Blass. Start scrolling to see looks by more designers in a fashion feed that?s artfully arranged by color and constantly updated by local designer Lara Miller and her team. ?
When something catches your eye, you can follow the designer, send her a message or question, or ?like? the look to improve its chances of making the ?trending? section. (Ever heard of Lindsey Thornburg? Neither had we, but we?re in love.)
Until Purely Fashion?s ?buy? function goes live later this summer, the app is like scrolling through a reliably stylish, all-fashion Instagram feed.
For us, it means indulging in the thrill of the hunt just got easier. We didn?t even have to wrangle a seat at fashion week.
