PureWow pops up on Brika
Mother?s Day is next weekend, our sister?s wedding is in 17 days and half our friends are about to give birth. The holidays might be in December, but for us, good gifting is a year-round sport.
Brika to the rescue. We?re relieved to have found this streamlined website that showcases independent makers of beautiful items for the home, plus jewelry, fashion accessories and clothes for little ones. (Think of a chicer, curated version of Etsy, sans the yard-sale-worthy knickknacks).
Brika is the creation of two highly accomplished women--Jen Lee Koss and Kena Paranjape--who between them can claim Juilliard cellist, Banana Republic merchandiser, fashion blogger and Harvard grad on their résumés. We may have sworn off string instruments at age nine, but at least we share their taste in covetable things.
??If it were our birthday coming up, we?d want our celebratory cupcake served on this adorable pink stand, a lemon-verbena soy candle to illuminate our ?me time? bubble bath, a preppy case for our new iPhone and a set of whale note cards for thanking all of our well-wishers.??
To see more Brika finds that wow us, check out the site?s limited-time-only PureWow pop-up shop. From fresh-looking platters for serving dinner party guests to infinity scarves for kids, these are goods we?d love to give--or get.??
