We've already set our DVRs for the two-hour season premiere of Mad Men on March 25. Meanwhile, we're prepping for our '60s-themed home viewing party by taking the second--and most womanly--of bespoke-cocktail company Femme du Coupe's Mad Men-themed class series: "Cocktails with a Curve."
This Thursday and Friday from 7 to 9 p.m., the lovely mixologist and Femme du Coupe founder Revae Schneider teaches us how to create classic cocktails "for the Joan Harris (née Holloway) in you." Drinks you'll sip and learn to make at home include the French 75, the Last Word and the St-Germain Fizz.
"Cocktails with a Curve" and the other classes in the Mad Men series are held at the beautiful new River North studio of Fleur de lis Florist, which opened quietly in mid-February. This week's Friday-night class was just added due to overwhelming response for the Thursday session (both are $40 per person).
If you've been meaning to catch up with your most Betty Draper-esque--or Don Draper-obsessed--girlfriend, we can't think of a better way to do it.
