The Art of Falling
It's all fun and games until somebody busts out a pirouette.

Need to de-stress? A few hours spent in a dark theater can be even better than a massage. And if the show cracks you up? Bonus points!??

This week, take a break from the grind and see The Art of Falling, a five-night-only collaboration between two Chicago greats: The Second City and Hubbard Street Dance.

The two-hour (with one intermission) production features Second City?s funny people trying their hand at dancing...and amazing Hubbard Street company members given free rein to improvise.

The piece?s three intertwining story lines are literally or figuratively about falling: falling in or out of love, taking risks, falling down, falling from grace.

In one, a professional dancer and a clumsy office worker fall for each other. In another, a temp worker dreams of hooking up with the office hunk. And keep your eyes peeled for Second City actor Rashawn Scott--she gets in a ton of zingers.

It?s a true hybrid of comedy and dance--including some hilarious interactions with office furniture, we?re told.
