The Pup Stops Here
Take your dog to brunch at the Dana
Sure, Chicago?s patio dining scene is generally pet-friendly (hello, Maltese mob at Gibsons). Still, the one time we took our pooch to brunch, we practically had to beg our waiter for extra water.
That won?t happen when you show up with your furry bestie at Freestyle Food + Drink, the casual, sustainably-minded restaurant at the Dana Hotel and Spa in the Gold Coast.
Freestyle has just launched a new pet package that guarantees dogs enjoy brunch as much as their owners do. For $10, canines of all sizes are brought a plush, colorful bed to lounge on while you linger over your chipotle-pineapple margarita ($11). They also get unlimited cool water from cute insulated bowls and gourmet, Chicago-themed dog cookies from Tails in the City down the street.
?But what do the humans eat?? you ask. How about a bowl of marinated rib-eye over garlic fried rice topped with spicy cabbage and a fried egg ($12)?
Now that?ll wake you up.
