Joe Develops a New Obsession in Latest ‘You’ Season 3 Trailer

It appears nothing has changed for Joe Goldberg (Penn Badgley), who’s returning to Netflix for You season three.

The streaming service just released a brand-new trailer for the upcoming episodes, which pick up right where we left off in the previous installment. You know, with Love (Victoria Pedretti) telling Joe that they’re going to be parents.

In the trailer, Joe tries (and fails) to adjust to his new life as a dad. “In my history of scared, this is the most scared I’ve ever been,” he says in the clip. “I’ve always believed in ‘The One,’ but being your dad is changing me.”

Joe goes on to describe his new life as a suburban dad, adding, “For you, I’d move to some soulless suburb. For you, I’d marry the monster.”

However, everything changes when Joe meets the woman who lives across the street and develops an unhealthy obsession with her. (Sound familiar?)

“So now, I have you,” he adds. “Things will be different this time.”

The problem? Love is threatening to blow Joe’s cover after she catches wind of his extracurricular activities. Although he agrees to attend couples therapy, Joe seems to be questioning his future with Love. “Marriage isn’t really built for secrets,” he says.

This isn’t the first time Netflix has released a trailer for You season three. Last month, the streaming service dropped a teaser that not only confirmed the premiere date, but it also revealed the name of Joe’s son: Henry.

You season three will hit Netflix on Friday, October 15. (And yes, we’ve already cleared our weekend plans.)
