On Jan. 12, the Netflix announced on Twitter that the movie is heading to their streaming platform in April. However, an official trailer has yet to be released. Their statement reads, "Directed by Robert Pulcini and Shari Springer Berman, the chilling drama stars Amanda Seyfried and James Norton as a Manhattan couple whose marriage has a sinister darkness that rivals their new home's history." We're definitely intrigued.
Based on the book All Things Cease to Appear by Elizabeth Brundage, the movie stars Natalia Dyer (Nancy Wheeler from Stranger Things), Rhea Seehorn, Alex Neustaedter and F. Murray Abraham. Meanwhile, Stefanie Azpiazu, Anthony Bregman, Julie Cohen and Peter Cron served as producers.
While speaking with Entertainment Weekly, Pulcini revealed that he was excited to get Seyfried on board. He said, "We were just thrilled to land Amanda. I mean, she was so right for this role, because she has this delicate side and this strength simultaneously. People are really starting to see what she's capable of, but she can do anything you ask of her as an actor, and she has great instincts."
Sounds like Things Heard and Seen is going to be a good one.
