Channing Tatum is sharing his Magic Mike knowledge with the rest of the world, and you won’t hear us complaining.
The 40-year-old actor is teaming up with HBO Max to develop an all-new competition series, The Real Magic Mike (working title). The show will follow ten real men who have “lost their magic” as they try to become real-life Magic Mikes.
The contestants will compete in a variety of challenges, including dance routines, strip teases and training camps that are designed to develop self-confidence. The winner will not only walk away with a cash prize, but he’ll also get to perform on the Magic Mike Live stage in Las Vegas.
The Real Magic Mike will be executive produced by an all-star team, which includes Tatum, Steven Soderbergh, Reid Carolin, Peter Kiernan, Gregory Jacobs, Nick Wechsler, Vincent Marini, Alycia Rossiter, Cassie Lambert Scalettar, Chris Culvenor, Paul Franklin, Wes Dening and David Tibballs.
