Gird Your Loins, “The Devil Wears Prada” is Becoming a Musical
20th Century Fox

Unlike florals for spring, this actually is ground breaking: The Devil Wears Prada is coming to Broadway! The show will be produced by Kevin McCollum and written by Paul Rudnick (the brilliant mind behind The First Wives Club and the 2004 The Stepford Wives remake), with musical ingenuity by Sir Elton John.

Few other details have been released but John said of his involvement, “Reimagining The Devil Wears Prada for the musical theater is super exciting.”

On loving the book, its film adaption and all things fashion, Sir Elton continued,“I'm a huge fan of both the book and the feature film and a huge aficionado of the fashion world. I can't wait to sink my musical teeth into this hunk of popular culture.”

We can’t wait for you to sink your brilliant musical teeth into this too, Elton.

Forget the commitment to the hideous skirt convention. We’re too busy making sure we’re first in line for tickets instead.
