8 Shows Like ‘The Office’ to Watch If You’ve Already Binged All of Michael Scott

We love The Office. In fact, we're so obsessed with the show that we'll watch our favorite episodes again and again (and then 18 more times after that). But considering that it's been more than 14 years since NBC blessed us with the greatest series in the universe, we think it's time to find something else to watch. Especially because NBC will be taking the hit comedy off Netflix in early 2021 and moving it to a new streaming service. But don't fret. Here, eight shows like The Office that are just as funny, quotable and downright binge-worthy.

1. ‘parks And Recreation’

Created by two The Office alumni (Greg Daniels and Michael Schur) this mockumentary-style workplace comedy features an all-star cast including Amy Poehler, Chris Pratt, Rashida Jones, Aubrey Plaza and Nick Offerman. Poehler plays Leslie Knope, an earnest government employee who is trying to improve her hometown of Pawnee, Indiana, one park at a time.

2. ‘the Good Place’

When Eleanor (Kristen Bell) passes away, she ends up in a magical land filled with frozen yogurt, sunny days and her very own soul mate (aka “the Good Place”). But things aren't quite as idyllic as they seem. Whip-smart writing and mind-boggling twists will ensure you continue watching.

3. ‘modern Family’

Take an honest (and hilarious) peek at three very different families, who just so happen to be related. Shot in a mockumentary style, you'll have a hard time picking your favorite family member from this adorable crew (OK, it's Phil).

4. ‘30 Rock’

Loosely based on behind-the-scenes high jinks at Saturday Night Live, this laugh-out-loud series follows Liz Lemon (Tina Fey), the head writer for a live sketch-comedy show in New York. Written by and starring Fey, this one will have you giggling (and cringing) just like you used to with your favorite episodes of The Office.

Fox

5. ‘brooklyn Nine-nine’

This single-camera comedy follows a group of detectives in New York City, including one carefree cop (Andy Samberg) who is forced to shape up when he gets a new boss. As you might have expected, shenanigans ensue.

6. ‘arrested Development’

Follow the formerly wealthy and currently dysfunctional Bluth family in this sidesplittingly funny and totally absurd comedy where a son (Jason Bateman) reluctantly tries to keep everyone together—and out of jail. (Psst: Binge seasons one through four before the second half of season five premieres in March.)

7. ‘new Girl’

When Jess (Zooey Deschanel) gets dumped by her loser boyfriend, she moves into a loft with a group of boys. While this mismatched crew don't appear to have anything in common, they soon become firm friends as they help each other figure out this whole life thing together.

8. ‘the Mindy Project’

If you loved Mindy Kaling as Kelly Kapoor on The Office, you're going to be equally obsessed with her in this single-camera comedy where she plays a talented OB/GYN trying to figure out both her professional and personal life (including how to find the perfect man).
