Which Film Will Win the Best Picture Oscar? We May Have Gotten the Answer Last Night

The 95th Academy Awards are less than 2 weeks away, and as Hollywood's biggest night draws near, we can't help but try to predict who will take home those shiny gold Oscars. Of course, we've already made our picks, but last night's Screen Actors Guild award ceremony seemed to all but confirm that one movie seems likely to take home the Academy Award for Best Picture: Everything Everywhere All at Once.

Last night, Everything Everywhere All at Once made history at the SAG Awards, where the film won 4 out of its 5 nominations and became the most-awarded movie in the history of the ceremony. Meanwhile, the ensemble was awarded the prize for Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture, which makes the film a shoo-in to win Best Picture at the Oscars.

Since the genre-bending A24 film hit theaters last March, it has won over audiences and critics alike, grossing over $100 million at the box office and garnering acclaim from critics. And this awards season, the film has been collecting trophies at nearly every ceremony where it was nominated.

So far, the action-packed drama has won Best Picture at the Critics' Choice Movie Awards, the Hollywood Critics Association Awards and the Producers Guild of America Awards. Meanwhile, the American Film Institute named it one of the ten best films of 2022.

In addition to these accolades for the film itself, the stars from the movie have been collecting plenty of trophies as well, with Michelle Yeoh, Ke Huy Quan, Jamie Lee Curtis and Stephanie Hsu all winning at various major ceremonies. With all four of these stars nominated at the Oscars as well, we have a feeling at least one of them will be taking home a trophy on March 12.

All we want is a little credit when we end up getting this one right.
