Today’s #familygoals lesson comes from Kate Middleton, who dropped an early Christmas gift to the world this morning with the release of her holiday pic. What is she teaching exactly? How to take an insanely perfect family portrait, that's what. Here, her royal holiday-card tips (as we would imagine):
1. Get a blowout. Your pic will look infinitely better if your hair is coiffed to perfection (especially if it shows off your new-in-2015 side-swept bangs).
2. Don’t stress about color coordination. Blue was technically the theme (see George’s shorts, William’s sweater and Kate’s jeans), but Charlotte missed the memo. And that’s actually cooler.
3. Bring a red toy. In between takes, the kids can play, but duh, it doubles as a darling themed prop.
4. If 75 percent of your family is looking, it’s a keeper. If the shot looks too forced and posed, you could land yourself into Awkward Family Photos territory. Take a cue from Will and go slightly candid.
