Netflix New Releases: The Best Shows & Movies to Watch in March

Netflix is sharing a never-before-seen glimpse at its March 2023 streaming slate, and it’s even better than expected.

The list is full of recognizable titles, including Big Daddy, Burlesque, Easy A, Sleepless in Seattle and The Hangover. However, the real showstoppers are all the new original titles. While there are multiple debuts—like Luther: The Fallen Sun—there are also several shows that are returning for new seasons, like You, Sex/Life and Love Is Blind.

Keep reading for our top picks from Netflix’s new releases, followed by a complete list of TV shows and movies that are coming to the streaming service beginning in March.

1. Sex/Life

  • Premiere date: March 2

Meet Billie (Sarah Shahi), a suburban mom who’s growing tired of her sex life with her husband. She’s forced to further examine her marriage when she starts fantasizing about her ex. (Season 2 picks up right where the previous installment ends.)

2. You

  • Premiere date: March 9

Part 2 of You season 4 is set to premiere on March 9. The fourth season follows Joe Goldberg (Penn Badgley) as he creates a new identity in London. It doesn’t take long for his past to catch up to him.

3. Luther: The Fallen Sun

  • Premiere date: March 10

In this follow-up film, Luther (Idris Elba) escapes jail after a brawl gone awry. Despite his “wanted” status, Luther is determined to finish what he started.

4. Love Is Blind

  • Premiere date: March 24

The popular dating show is returning for season 4, with new installments premiering weekly. Love Is Blind follows single men and women as they date each other in “solo pods.” This means they can hear (but can’t see) each other unless they get engaged.

5. Murder Mystery 2

  • Premiere date: March 31

The highly anticipated sequel features Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston reprising their roles as Nick and Audrey Spitz. But this time, the private detectives launch their very own agency.
